Silvia Pokrivcakova

Prof. Silvia Pokrivcakova is a lecturer, teacher trainer and researcher in language and literature pedagogy at Trnava University, Slovakia. Being interested in a wide variety of subjects related to the contemporary problems of teaching foreign languages to young and teenage learners, she has been focusing on CLIL, CALL, inclusive education (teaching English to learners with special educational needs), and literary education. She is an author and editor of numerous monographs, research studies, teacher handbooks and textbooks, as well as an organiser of regular academic events for language pedagogy researchers and teachers. Since 2013, she has been an Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Language and Cultural Education (CC WoS).

Sofia Di Sarno-García, Irina Argüelles Álvarez

Sofia Di Sarno-García holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the Universitat Politècnica de València. Her research interests include interlanguage pragmatics, intercultural communicative competence, and telecollaboration. She is Assistant Editor of the journal The Eurocall Review and she teaches English for Professional and Academic Communication at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Irina Argüelles Álvarez is a professor at the Technical School of Engineering and Telecommunications Systems at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. She carries out her teaching and research work in applied linguistics as a member of the Department of Linguistics Applied to Science and Technology and within the research Group on Acoustics and MultiMedia Applications (GAMMA).
